CAN-do Recycling is a vocational habilitation program of Vision Mentors, LLC. As business partners of CAN-do Recycling, adults with DD (developmental disabilities) learn important work ethics such as responsibility, attendance, task completion, problem solving, social interaction, and team work. The recycling business not only teaches and reinforces these ethics; it also provides an income from the sales of the recycled material. CAN-do Recycling business partners are given ownership, and through this, they learn the rewards of hard work and good work ethics--a profitable business.
